Carnivore Club is the world’s first subscription service that delivers premium cured meats to your door. Each month’s box is different, featuring a new artisan you won’t find in your local grocery store.
In 2017, Carnivore Club came to us looking for a new eCommerce website that would allow them to increase site speed and conversion rates while scaling for an international multi-store expansion. The main problem was that each of their five geographical stores had a different eCommerce website, resulting in the same change needing to be made across each individual website.
The functionality, integration capabilities, and high degree of customization required by the site made Magento Commerce 2 an obvious choice. The switch to Magento across all of Carnivore Club’s websites facilitated a successful solution, allowing more flexible and intuitive customizations within the subscription model and checkout process.
With Magento Commerce 2, we completely restructured Carnivore Club’s back-end with a variety of custom-built modules and logic within a timeline of 4 months. After the website launched in October 2017, there were notable improvements in overall conversions rates, online traffic numbers, and subscriber volume:
- Mobile conversion rates increased by more than 43%
- Overall conversion rates increased by over 25%
- Subscriber base increased by 100% within just 3 months of launch
